ALF/Teen ACCESS and Education Forum a success
On Saturday, November 4th, 2008 with the direction of the American Leadership Foundation (ALF) Class XIV, the Downtown YMCA opened its doors to host the 1st Teen ACCESS and Education Forum. This invitation only event gave 150 high school students from around Pierce County and surrounding areas an opportunity to gain valuable insight into educational, scholarship, and career opportunities through interaction with local agencies, trade, two and four year schools, and funders. As a result of the success of the event, there is talk of providing another opportunity. Please stay tuned for more information in the future...
